Kenapa Manusia Di Uji?

Alhamdulillah, my dad has been discharged from the hospital. Doktor kata my dad just needs to take his medications and have plenty of rest and try to be 'stress-free'. Ye lah.. semua orang pun want to be 'stress-free' tapi life is such that you can only dream of it! Recent 'happenings' has brought tremendous worry and stress upon the family . We are all trying to cope with it as best as we can... in our own individual ways ..

Things which you do not hope, happen more frequently than things which you do. In reality, hope is the worst of all evils, because it prolongs man's torments. When you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, the quality that helps you go on, in spite of it all.

The same goes with worrying. Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.

Kita selalu dengar atau baca tentang betapa segala bencana, penyakit, kesusahan atau kerunsingan yang menimpa tubuh badan atau akal fikiran seseorang adalah menjadi "kaffarah" (penghapus) kekotoran dosa dan kesalahan orang yang ditimpa bencana itu.

Dari petikan hadis At-Tirmidzi dan Ibn Majah, Anas berkata Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda: "Bahawa besarnya sesuatu balasan itu menurut besarnya sesuatu bencana ujian; dan bahawa Allah SWT apabila mengasihi sesuatu kaum - diuji mereka. Kemudian sesiapa yang menerima ujian itu dengan reda, maka dia akan beroleh keredaan Allah SWT, dan sesiapa yang bersikap keluh kesah serta benci menerima ujian itu, maka dia akan mendapat kemurkaan dari Allah SWT."
