Yang mana satu nak pilih untuk Firdaus?

1. Tawaran ke Kolej MARA Kulim untuk Program Matrikulasi - under Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia. Pendaftaran pada 10 Mei 2010.

OR

2. Tawaran ke Kolej MARA Kuala Nerang for FOUNDATION IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY - ENGINEERING - programme under UNIKL. Pendaftaran pada 9 Mei 2010.

Keputusan interview overseas scholarship MARA (PILN) di Ipoh tempoh hari, hanya akan diketahui 17hb Mei kot, kalau tak silap. So camner? Kalau tunggu..., belum tentu dapat ka tidak? Offer matrikulasi and foundation ni pulak dah nak kena daftar 9 - 10 Mei. Kalau tak pegi daftar, kang yang nuuu tak dapat, yang niii pun berterabor!

MARA Interview - Ipoh

13 April, Tuesday -

Tak cukup tido.. restless night.. sebab apa?

Sebab anak nak interview! heh..!

Bertolak dari Penang at 8am. Sebelum bertolak, check documents, baju, tie, kasut, stokin.. double check... triple check..! aduiih! berpeluh ..

Traffic tak banyak, arrived Ipoh by 9.30am. Managed to find the place for interview with the help of GPS Navigator. Masih awal lagi.. ronda-ronda.. jumpa Old Town. Singgah kejap for 2nd breakfast. Dah order makan, tunggu punya tunggu, minuman jer yang sampai, makanan tak siap-siap. Tengok orang yang datang after us pun dah di serve makan. Apalagi, Faiz bengang la.. dia pegi marah diorang and cancelled order. Keluar from there, tengok-tengok keta pulak kena saman parking! Haiya!! Awat la!! Double bengang! Rupanya kat situ parking pakai tiket yang digores .. mana la kita nak tau, kan? Mana pulak nak pi cari beli tiket tu? hurmmph!!! tak berbaloi sungguh singgah Old Town tadi.

Balik ke tempat interview. Firdaus insists that we don't accompany him into the building.. dia kata satgi dia "tak boleh focus"!?? Pulak?? So I said, I'd drop him in front of the building and go ronda somewhere else, nanti will come and pick him up when he's finished. Tak boleh jugak?? "Mama parking sini and wait in the car, don't go anywhere". Nearby, but not seen?? haisshhh... macam-macam laaa budak ni..

12.30noon, finished his interview. When he saw me, he was grinning from ear to ear. Sejuuukkkk hati perut mama! I guessed all went well. The results of interview will be out dua tiga hari lagi, on 17 April. Have to check website nanti.

Sms Yati, told her we're on the way to Restoran Simpang Tiga for Nasi Padang. She said she'll meet us there. Her cafe is on the 3rd floor of the same building. Dia nak tumpang balik ke Penang and Firdaus pulak nak stay on in Ipoh sehari dua, nak spend time with her son, Hafiz. After lunch, pegi hantar Firdaus ke rumah Yati and we left for Penang.

Masa tiba Changkat Jering, kena tahan kat road block pulak dah! Speed trap! Eh? I bawak laju ka?? Faiz (yang duduk di belakang) kept on apologizing to the policeman. Me? Sengih jaa.. tak cakap apa!


Rasanya I tak la bawak laju sangat kot pasal he let me go, tak saman I.. Alhamdulillah!!

What an eventful day...

H1N1 Vaccination - Part 2

9.30am - Bawak Farid and Yasmin for their H1N1 vaccination.

Like the other day, tak der orang pun.. terus boleh masuk for injection.

Yasmin dari rumah lagi having 'cold sweats' dah. At the clinic, nurse tu baru touch her arms, she jumped up from the chair!




"Nanti sat.. nanti sat.. sat.. ".

Apa la budak ni! Dah settled skit, baru boleh inject dia.

Farid ok ja.. control macho.. takut malu kat adik kot?!

Balik rumah, bz photocopying and compiling Firdaus's certificates. Esok awal pagi nak pegi Ipoh. Firdaus ada MARA interview at 11am. I'm looking forward to go to Ipoh too - can visit Yati and nak pegi makan Nasi Padang di Restoran Simpang Tiga.. nyum.. nyumm..

H1N1 Vaccination

Today, my parents went for Wargamas check-up at Pusat Kesihatan Bayan Baru.

Lebih kurang an hour later, my mum called, kelam kabut asking me to take the whole family to the clinic. Aik! Apa hal?? Rupanya dapat free H1N1 vaccinations at the clinic. Macamana nak pegi ni ..budak-budak masih tido.. Faiz dah pegi keja.. I'm halfway cooking.. isy!

Lepas solat Jumaat, (Yasmin and Julia having classes, Farid not feeling well, Faiz ada appointment), I went to the clinic with Firdaus and my mum. Terus jer dapat injection, tak payah tunggu pun, orang tak ramai coz there was no campaign about it. The nurse said can bring the rest of the family there on Monday. Harap-harap vaccine belum habis by then.

Ahad, 4hb April

Faiz, Firdaus, Yasmin, Julia and I left for KL at 11am. Yati pun ada, she tumpang nak balik ke Ipoh.

Arrived Ipoh at 1.30pm. Yati suggested we try Nasi Padang at "Restoran Simpang Tiga". Kebetulan terserempak dengan Sofina and husband having lunch there ... what a small world!

Looking at the spread of various dishes being offered was mind-boggling.. apa lagi time perut tengah lapar ni... We ordered ayam goreng bumbu, masak lemak siput belitong, daging bercili, gado-gado, daun pucuk ubi tumbuk and masak lemak sotong cili padi.

After dropping Yati off at her house, we continued our drive to KL. I took over the wheel as Faiz started to feel sleepy.. hmm.. perut kenyang, mata pun mengantuk. Surprisingly quite heavy traffic today. We arrived Boulevard Hotel, Midvalley at 5pm where my sister was already waiting. After checking-in to our rooms, we went up to the Executive Lounge at 26th floor for tea.

We had bihun goreng, sausages, fruits, cheese cakes and other desserts.. wah! makan lagi!!

After Maghrib prayers, ronda-ronda MidValley Mall. Faiz bought Kauffman wallet and belt. Dinner was at Tempanyaki's .. oh yess!! makan lagi..

Isnin 5hb April

Firdaus's PNB scholarship test 10am - 12 noon. Selepas subuh, terus siap-siap. Makan breakfast and pegi ke Menara PNB. Faiz's friend, Nik, was waiting for us there. Incidentally, Firdaus's friend was also there for the test. We left him with the friend and went for SECOND breakfast - Nasi Dagang pulak! Lepas makan, Faiz and Nik sent my sister and I to KLCC.. yeay! shopping!

We only had 2 hours to shop. Masuk kedai, keluaq kedai.. bought myself a Braun Buffel handbag .. warna kuning terang , youuu!! Happy dah dapat handbag... now pegi counter cosmetic pulak. My sister wanted to get some Bobbi Brown make-up items. Time's up!

Balik ke Boulevard.. Firdaus kata nak makan steak. My sister suggested we go to Tony Roma's at Midvalley/Gardens. It was my first time there. Nice cosy place.

The 3 pieces of Char-grilled moist beef ribs smothered with their signature sweet and smoky BBQ sauce, the meat fork-tender .. you won’t need much effort to get the meat off the bone! The Baked Jacket Potato and it’s toppings superbly soft and lovely… hhmmmm.. yumm..yumm.. I could eat these all day!!!
