KAK ZU

Aktiviti hari ni lunch at E & O Hotel bersempena Noraini going back to England on 1st December. We'd create all sorts of excuses just to get-together and go out for 'makan-makan'. So I said to her, I don't consider this lunch as farewell. Hopefully, she'd go and come back in a month or two... and then... we'd create another lunch - this time, a "Welcome Home" one! hehehe..


-by the way, I timbang this morning, weight masih tak turun pun?
-ceh! pura-pura surprise pulak yer?


Kebetulan, today is also Kak Zue's birthday. So, now we've got two occasions to celebrate! ..happy .. happy ..

Seharian 'merayau' dengan Faiz today (as planned in previous post).

Paginya, pegi beli lampu and ordered bathroom doors for the new house.

After lunch, pegi shopping with Faiz for his winter wear.

Petangnya pulak, melepak kat new house tengok-tengokkan diorang pasang lampu ...






... and tiles for my wet kitchen.

Firdaus's bedroom set has arrived tapi belum assembled. I pun pegi naik ke bilik dia to take photos, tapi terperanjat ada orang sedang tido atas his cabinet.. so, terus blah!

next time la, eh..

Well anyway.. yesterday met up with Kak Ju, Mariana (her cucu) and Yati as planned and we went to Seoul Garden for lunch. Makan lagiii..

Oh my! Dua hari berturut-turut shopping sakan! Finally dah dapatkan kesemua keperluan Firdaus sebelum dia balik ke Seremban esok. Yasmin still belum jumpa shoes/boots yang dia berkenan. Eh! silap tu! Yang dia berkenan, memang la banyak.. tapi yang 'suitable' for winter use tu yang pening nak cari.

My stuff pun dah complete, well.. boleh la kalau nak tambah 2-3 helai kemeja from GEB. hehehe..

Minggu depan, baru nak complete-kan shopping for Farid and Faiz pulak. Lepas tu, pack. And we're ready to go!

BerHari Raya empat anak-beranak jer kelmarin. Awal-awal lagi lepas sembahyang Raya, Faiz went off to his workshop sebab his partner, Shaik, buat korban and kenduri untuk pekerja-pekerja syarikat. So, kitorang had no choice but to spend our day out - shopping!! (acecece... no choice la kan!).

First stop - Gurney Plaza. Got my Snowfly ankle boots. Berkenan warna coklat tapi tak der size pulak. Have to be contented with this black one sebab sangat susah nak dapatkan boots with tapak yang macam tayar traktor ni!

Lepas ronda shopping (Yasmin now complaining her feet were killing her!), kitorang pun pegi lunch. Firdaus teringin nak pegi Seoul Garden, so, jom ...

After lunch, bergegas balik ke rumah for Zohor prayers. Now, second destination - Queensbay Mall. Farid tak nak ikut kali ni, dah surrender!

Yesterday, Firdaus dah pegi survey his shoes so we went straight to PUMA. Kasut memang cantik and suitable.. tapi masa he was trying on the shoes.. there was a very 'yucky' strong smell coming from the shoes. I commented to the salesperson about the smell. Katanya, the smell is from inner lining of the shoes - bulu kuda!

Tak jadi belilah kasut busuk tu!! Went to a few other shops tapi belum ada yang berkenan. Nampaknya shopping will have to be continued to the next day. Jom singgah Winter Warmers minum dulu sebelum balik ..

Aidil Adha 2010

Last week when Yati came up to Penang, I 'introduced' her to my favourite Iced Mixed Fruit Tea at Winter Warmers. Yesterday, she was here again for the coming Aidil Adha Holidays. When I asked her where shall we go lepak-lepak, she answered promptly, "Winter Warmers! Teringatkan Fruit Tea you hari tu".

Lepas makan, ronda-ronda checking out the winter jackets and boots. Found a pair of Snowfly Boots that I really liked... Yes!! I'll get that when we all come shopping at Gurney Plaza tomorrow morning.

Lunch date with Yusmayati at my current favourite spot, Winter Warmers. Mesti you all ingat .. "asyik asyik Winter Warmers.. tak dak tempat lain ke", kan? Well, hello...! on Monday kita berdua nak dating Seoul Gardens pulak. Haa!!

(YES!!!! Have loads of FUN!! Jangan tak tau, I have always been sort of a ‘lone ranger’. If I can go out, enjoy my own company and actually have fun by myself, bayangkan macamana enjoynya bila ber-activities and ber-holidays with friends!!)

Awal pagi had breakfast with Yati at Kayu Nasi Kandar. We went to Noraini's at 10am and when Qafifa arrived, we all pegi rumah Enna. Hari ni Enna buat Majlis Yasiin, Tahlil & Birthday.

Bila dah lama tak jumpa geng, sekali jumpa .. fuhh!! macam nak terangkat bumbung rumah punya riuh sembang!

Majlis selesai lebih kurang 1.30pm. Lepas solat Zohor, Yati and I pegi Winter Warmers for tea.

Sejak pertama kali I tried the Iced Mixed Fruit Tea masa lunch with Noraini and Kathy 2 weeks back, asyik teringat jer nak minum tu lagi. Sedap sungguh. Ni haaa..



Sambil minum, sambil trying to figure out apa yang diorang taruk dalam mixed fruit tea ni. Agaknya, bancuh teh .. pastu taruk mixed fruit syrup kot? Kena try buat kat rumah ni... Emm.. sat nak pi cari mixed fruit syrup kat tesco...

Akhirnya ...

Esok pagi, ada breakfast appointment dengan Noraini at Coffeebean, Queensbay. After that, she's accompanying me pegi shopping for my winter clothes and suitable shoes. Gabra jugak bila mengingatkan kitorang bakal experience musim sejuk kat sana. Tapi bila lagi nak try, kan?


Harap-harap jangan nanti bila dah tiba di Frankfurt (first destination), four steps turun tangga kapalterbang, jadi "Statue of Dolly" pulak!! ahaks!!

What a great way to break the Monday blues .. pagi-pagi jumpa geng! Had breakfast date at Kayu Nasi Kandar with Kathy, Noraini & daughter (aiseyman.. Sumayyah ke, Samiyyah eh? I'm still confused between the twins).

Tempat & Tema : Was happy with my wedding (tahun 1984) at my current home and would not have it any other way.
